"The Dragon's Backbone"

I had so much fun putting this together.

An multi-racial epic fantasy adventure play, heavily based on a traditional pantomime format, especifically written for a young audience.

The play has lyrics incorporated within the text which could be set to music, though my original intention was that they should be sung/spoken with instinctively vocalised melody and rythmn with the support of an inspirational percussion section.
The plot, the time-honoured standard of good versus evil, revolves around the quest of a young man and a few of his friends to rescue his sweetheart from the evil magician before he can extract her life-essence by means of his monstrous machine..............
The Dragon?s Backbone.

Murder Mysteries

These productions are intended for performance within an interactive-dinner theatre setting.
They are always a lot of fun to do, and tend towards the melodramatic as things progress.
The Actors are 'planted' as bona-fide dinner guests, which tests each actor's improvisational skills to the utmost as they endeavour to retain that illusion throughout the evening.

"A Well-Seasoned Demise."

Monosodium Glutamate cannot kill a man, surely; or can it? A manic Chef, a young student on her first outing to a 'posh' restaurant, a mentally deranged woman, a lovesick policewoman, a bemused detective, and a dubious doctor, create havoc and confusion over the main-course.

"Death in a Bottle."

A young girl dies of cyanide poisoning; by mistake as it turns out. So who was the intended victim?

"The Cell-Phone Murder."

Lured to a violent death by an unexpected telehone call which had to have come from an old friend..... or did it?

"Death of a Fakir"

"A one-act Melodrama."
